Artist Bio

A dedicated artist, educator, and filmmaker based in Manchester, Chris intertwines autobiography, cinema, and self-expression in his work. Chris’ narratives probe the complex relationship between place and adolescence, utilizing the photographic medium to explore nature, nurture, and the presented self. Currently, Chris contributes to the success of Salford University's cinematography course, specializing in traditional film making techniques, including motion picture film.

As an accomplished camera operator and technician, Chris boasts a proven track record in high-volume rental house operations. With work gracing exhibitions in Manchester and London, alongside digital showcases; notably, his most recent project, 'The SATWEL Project,' achieved a sold-out status in photo book form, with ongoing success in limited edition prints.
